In the Search Properties window, you can search for design elements with a combination of specific properties.
After the search is completed, the audit window appears with every design element found by the search engine.
It is very useful to help validate the integrity of your data. You will also be able to export the results to a file.
You can use wildcards in all the text fields of the search window :
|*||"aaa*ccc" will find text like "aaabbbccc"|
"*" will find anything that is not null
|>||"en>" will find both "en" and "en-CA"|
|?||"a?c" will find "abc"|
How to use
- Select the design properties you want to search for
- The "Inherit from design template" and "Language and Region" parameters are ignored if their checkbox are not checked; otherwise the following rules apply:
|Checked box||The search engine will look for design elements that have this property enabled|
|Empty box||The search engine will look for design elements that have this property disabled|
|Filled-in box||This property will be ignored|
