YTRIA Notes Tool for Forms

Fall at Ytria has been bustling with activity, with new major tool upgrades, and all-new products on the way for Notes professionals. But the fun's not over, and we hope to see you at the upcoming Lotusphere 2006 (Booth #219) being held next January.

A new tool from Ytria that can help you manage forms a little easier. Ytria brings you FormEZ, a smart and useful Notes development tool that can let you make field formula changes to your forms. Use it alongside the Domino Designer for an easier way to manage and edit your field formulas in one simple interface.

Tips and Tricks

Here's Tip #4 from our tips and tricks archive:

Select any Notes database (email, personal address book, applications etc...) on your workspace, open scanEZ from the Notes client toolbar. Click to expand the Designs tree. To see private views, private folders, and private agents go to the Designs category and uncheck the Use Design Collection Note check box (bottom right corner). The private design views, folders and agents are easily identified with a red letter "P" in the explorer tree. You can see all private views in a database, even for other users, (on one database at a time).

However, due to Notes security you must be working on a local copy of the database to be able to see everything. If the database is on the server you will only be able to see your own private views/folders, because of the $Reader field that is protecting it.

You can use the "Search by Formula" to find them for you. To delete them you select them with a checkbox and press the delete button on your keyboard, or from the menu delete button. You can literally delete them in seconds, with a few mouse clicks.
