Tips and Tricks

Here's Tip #2 from our tips and tricks archive:

Select any Notes database (email, personal address book, applications etc...) on your workspace, open scanEZ from the Notes client toolbar. Click to expand the Documents tree. Using scanEZ select as many documents as you want using the checkboxes in the explorer tree on the left.

Click the Compare Documents... button on the scanEZ toolbar (second from the right) to see and compare the chosen documents.

Click to select any field and directly make any changes to it (field value, field name, type, flags...) in the bottom panel.

Double-click any field to compare only that field and use the various radio buttons (Default, Sort, Index) to change the field display method. This is particularly useful when you want to compare big lists in a given field between documents.
