Sometimes a view can get corrupted, causing the Notes Client, Designer and even the Domino Server to crash every time they try to open or access the corrupted view. In this case, you can still try to see if scanEZ will be able to open the database and allow you to delete the corrupted view.

Select the Notes database (email, personal address book, applications etc.) on your workspace, open scanEZ from the Notes client toolbar. Click to expand the Designs > Views tree. Select any view from the list to see its actual contents and field values. Delete the suspected corrupted view that seems to be causing the crash.

scanEZ has some capability/flexibilty to open corrupted databases; but there is a limit, if a database is too corrupted even scanEZ will not be able to open it (it also means that the Notes API is unable to open the database, since that is what scanEZ is using).
