Secrets That Are Guaranteed To Save You Time

How can I change the properties for several actions in a Notes database?

NOTE: Our ‘Tips and Tricks’ section has been superseded by the Ytria Tech Lab. Archived tips are still being kept here for reference purposes. Please check the Ytria Tech Lab frequently for all the latest tips, tricks and tutorials to help you get the most out of your Ytria toolkit.

First make sure actionBarEZ is running. If it's not, select any Lotus Notes database (email, personal address book, application etc.) on your workspace, and click the actionBarEZ icon on your Lotus Notes client toolbar.

  1. In the first actionBarEZ window, select the design elements you want to examine using the checkboxes.
  2. Click the Actions button. The Actions window opens with all your database actions displayed and organized by design element.
  3. Select any action(s) as you want, hold the Ctrl or Shift button while clicking will help you select multiple actions.
  4. In the right-click menu, go to Properties and edit the action properties as you like. (Note: Only the properties that you actually want to edit will be changed. The properties that you do not edit, will not be changed.) Click Apply to apply your changes.
