How to fix mail settings in personal or global profile documents

Select any Notes database (email, personal address book, applications etc.) on your workspace, open scanEZ from the Notes client toolbar. Click to expand the Profile Documents tree. Select any profile document from the list to see its actual contents and field values.

Select a field that you want to change (type or value). In the bottom panel, with the Field Value tab selected, use the drop down menu to change the type of the field. To change the field value directly make the change in the large editable field (you can also change the field name directly). Click OK to edit another field. When you are finished editing the document click the green checkmark in the toolbar to save and apply your changes to the document.

Personal mail settings are set in the profile documents of the mail database. Two important settings are: DelegationProfile (where the owner of the mail database is set), and CalendarProfile (which contains all the information set through the button Tools\Preference in a mail database). Other profiles are HolidayProfile, OutOfOfficeProfile and Archive Profile.

If any of these profile documents get corrupted or have a replication conflict, your email database will no longer work as intended. But, with scanEZ you can instantly access these profiles, correct any value or delete them in order to re-configure the profile document.
