If you want to sign many databases there are a couple of different ways to to do this with signEZ.

Option 1: Using Signature Settings Documents

Create individual Settings documents for each database in the signEZ database and then execute them all at once. This means that if you have 100 databases you will need to create 100 Settings documents.

  1. Create all the Signature Settings documents to be used in a batch execution. You can do this by:
  2. Click the "Execute" or "Execute with other ID" button to process the Settings documents (which contain the signing instructions for each database)

Option 2: Using Command Line

Another method is to use the signEZ command line instructions. This will let you perform a signing or auditing operation on a list of database paths given by you. If you have 100 databases, you will need the path for each—listed in a Text List field (which is in a Notes document that you will need to create).

  • See the Batch execute list template for command line structure and details
  • Do not forget to create a document with the three required fields (including the text list field with all the database paths)
  • You will also need to obtain the NoteID of the Settings document in the signEZ database (used in the command line syntax)
  • When you have the documents and settings you need, then you can use the command line to mass-sign your databases
