Secrets That Are Guaranteed To Save You Time

How can I avoid entering my password each time I run a Ytria software tool?

Just to be clear, we never ask for your Notes password. It is the Notes API which is asking for the password (that's why the dialog box looks different from the one in Notes). Notes asks for your password to verify your identity.

However, the password dialog box shown by the Notes API can be avoided. You can manually disable this in your Notes client: File > Security > User Security, and then check the Don't prompt for a password for other Notes-based programs (reduces security) check box option. Once you check this option you will not have to enter your password each time, it makes your life easier.


Alternately, you can save your password inside any Ytria product to avoid the password prompt, if you prefer. You can do this in the following dialog (available in any Ytria tool): Help > Password Options.
