How can I see "ghost" documents? Documents that seem to re-appear after a replication?

 

scanEZ's Post Replication Auditor can immediately identifies all potential documents that re-appear (Status: Potential Resurrection) after deletion stubs are purged. These documents can then be treated using scanEZ's mass-modification features.

To see these documents open the Post Replication Auditor through scanEZ's Tools menu, and click the Audit button. Drag the Status column header up to the grey bar, and your database contents all appear sorted by Status. Expand the Potential Resurrection group to see the documents in question.

Notes simply does not provide this kind of information to you. The only way we know of, is to use scanEZ's unique Post Replication Auditor feature.

"The Post-Replication Auditor is used to show the current state of a database after a replication. With this tool you will be able to see which documents may have been resurrected (these documents are sometimes called "ghost documents" or "ghosts") as well as other replication issues. This tool is accessible via its toolbar button or the Tools > Post Replication Auditor... menu."

Note: Unlike the Replication Auditor, the Post Replication Auditor needs to open all documents to gather the data it needs so it is recommended to select a cutoff date (such as the date of the last replication) to reduce the audit process time."
