Filter (Design Element) - Lotus Notes Tools by Ytria

The filter option (

) can be used in many of our products (actionBarEZ, designPropEZ, formEZ, signEZ and viewEZ) to get a more specific list of design elements.

Any (Or) / All (And)
Filter the elements matching one or many of the selected criteria or matching all of the selected the criteria.

Private
Match the design element private property.

Hidden
Match the design element hidden property.

Web / Notes / Mobile Hide
Match the design element property of the same name.

Include / Exclude
Include or exclude design elements with the filter criteria to the current selection in the tree view. Elements will be selected only if they are not already present in the selection.

Inherit / Not Inherited
Include or exclude design elements based on whether their designs were inherited from a template or not.

Example

This filter will remove design elements that are not hidden or have the Web Hide property when you click on Exclude.

This filter will select design elements that are hidden and do not have the Notes Hide property.

Example

This filter uses regular expressions and select all design elements that contain the string People as well as thoses that start with the string Group.
